I had one, shot my first archery deer with one. Nice bow, great draw and @ the time awesome speed. Biggest problem was the noise @ the shot..LOUD! shoot it, bet you'll like it

There is a coupla guys at a site called monster bows who take old oneidas and upgrade them to shoot flat, fast, furious, and.....silent. They were tooling about on AT so maybe you could look them up there.

Monster Bows look awesome. They have a new shoot through design that is supposed to be as quiet as other brand high end bows.

check 'em out....www.monsterbows.com I think they'll upgrade your existing Oneida for a price. I unnerstand they shoot slickern'snot.

You may want to check the mfg location. Oneida's have been MI products (Marion, MI if I'm not mistaken) for as long as Claude Pollingtons been alive. Great bows by the way.

I just can't get over the Monster Bows. But too chicken to order something I can not have locally maintained.
