Looking for tips to improve my glue line on vanes. Using the Gorilla brand cyanoacrelate (crazy glue),very happy with it's performance but applicator tip is less than ideal for an even, thin line w/o surplus. Any tricks of the trade welcomed. (No 'my glue is better, please, just how to.

Put one drop towards the front, and one towards the back. Then use the plastic tip of the glue bottle to smooth out both drops evenly across the face of the base.

I use the Gorilla glue as well and this is what I do as well, and this works on vanes. On my feathers, I really don't seem to have the problem. The goofy tip seems to work pretty well on them for some reason.

After some experimentation with tips from another form, I've learned that 4-5 small drops the length of the vane (2" Blazers) spread out with applicator tip go on smoother and make for a neater finish than one big drop spread top to bottom. Live and learn.
