I'm pulling 73# on my King Cobra, and have realized that the spine of my X Weave 200s is a bit light for broadhead tuning. So, I ordered a dz. Victory HVs. But..at 6.4 gpi the finished weight with Blazers at 28" is 322.1 gr. A bit too light even though the spine is right on. So...I ordered 9" wraps at 1.6 gpi...14.4 gr. That will get me to 336.5. Close, but no cigar. So, I ordered the PDP weight system which consists of an adapter that screws into the back of your insert that accepts different weights from 5 to 30 grains. The process will entail building the arrow up to around 5gpp, while customizing the FOC. In the end, I hope to create the perfect arrow for my setup..which of course means getting the ultimate speed that can safely be got from my flame thrower of a bow. Parts should be arriving this week, and I'll keep it updated.

Did you try Maxima Hunter 350's should be able to get them real close to where you want That would be around a 376gr arrow with Blazers, and an 85gr head at 27". That's 5.1 gpp. Right on the money for weight, and spine. We'll see how the Victories work out first since I have them already, but I've always liked the Maximas.

I have a 27 3/4" Victory HV with a 9" wrap, Blazers, and a 100 gr point at 345 gr and an 8.9 % FOC. That's 4.7 gpp at 73#. I cut one backwards, (from the nock end) to hide the logo. Hopefully it flies as good as the others, and I'll cut the rest that way. Now for an 85 gr version.

Hahaha love it ......."Ninja Assassan" I thought you'd like that. Funny thing though..the wrap manufacturer recommended Locktite Gel Super glue for a fletching adhesive, but the glue seems to have dulled the reflective finish between the fletches, even though there wasn't any glue on that area.

The gel does that but I'll take perfect adhesion over looks any day Imagine the monster buck stepping out at 30 yards and a vane partially breaking loose on it's way off the string!. Thats just another thing to consider with a hot rod bow....it's hell on vanes!
