Getting frustrated

I have hunted about 5 days a week from Sept 15.I have seen
48 deer.Only 3 were bucks.(spikes).Today I sat in the same
ladder stand as yesterday.Yesterday I had a spike and nice
doe in my food plot for 30 min+.Just would not give me a shot.
I'm tired and my back is killing me from sitting in tree stands.
This morning I went back to the same spot.Heard somthing
behind my right side that at first I thought squrrels but I froze
just in case.Four deer 2 big does and 2 yearlings walked 9 feet
from the ladder.They walked across the corner of the food
plot and back into the woods.Ten min. later I see a big doe
walk out 20 yds. from where I had just moved the stand I
am now in .five deer walk right by that same tree.I watched
them at about 75 yards walk up a logging rd. I figure there
going to bed up on this small hill. A little while later I look and
I have one 20 yards away coming right at me.Again there on
my right side and I'm sitting all curled up so I don't have them
looking up.I can't move and can't shoot to the right with out
standing up and turning NO WAY 10 eye=balls .I
closed my eyes and could hear the bigger does stop.I knew
they were looking up at me.After a min.+ they all continued
to walk.Those five were 25 feet from the ladder.I had not cut
any of the maple saplings that were all in the way.So far I
have not had one deer walk into my cleared shooting lane .
Well there's always tomorrow.At least I'm seeing deer.I have
a new scent-lok coveralls and think they work.I have had deer
much closer this year with out getting busted than ever before.

Keep at it OFB you will score. I feel your pain I've been hunting since the 5th of september and last night was the first time I had a deer in bow range.

It will make it that much sweeter when you succeed! Sounds like you're having great sightings, and with it being into October already, the rut is just around the corner. With the doe traffic you have, the boys are bound to show up! Good Luck and shoot straight!

Just think, I've only seen one deer since the season started..don't feel that bad.

I'm just the opposite this year OFB. I would say My average deer sighting on my main piece of property is 3 or 4 per sit. I'm 8 sits into the year, and have seen 3 deer total. None have been does. One was a 3 pointer that was posing for me at 15 yards, but I let him walk. I'm thinking it is the killer mast crop this year, keeping deer from moving. Hope in about 3 weeks or so when the rut starts winding up, things will change,
