Hello everyone. I'm back! Sorry for the disappearing act. About the time my satellite internet system got struck by lightning, my construction business nose dived and I could not justify the cost of a new system. I have been off the web for nearly two years. I finally had to close my construction business and go back to something I had done as a young man, commercial crabbing. Things had been going really well then along came B.P. Thing are looking like there headed up again though so I'll just keep plugging along. It looks like I'll have plenty of time to hunt this year, so I'm starting to get a little excited. I may also get to return to Kentucky for a hunt though it will be a spartan affair. Back country camping instead of a motel. The camping I don't mind, it's the "not bathing" that kills me. On that note, does anyone know of a brand of scent free wetwipes?

welcome back. Whats stopping you from bathing? In northern Canada we have broke thin ice to bath, thats not ideal, but, now that we archery hunt moose and bear the season is earlier and there is no more refreshing bath than in a creek below a beaver damm.

I also forgot to mention " The Air Bath". That is when, with the best intentions, you get your soap, shampoo, and towel together, go down to the very recently thawed lake shore, strip down, in the nice refreshing north breeze, put your spare shoes on, (so you don't step on anything), edge your way to the shore line, ( while continuing to enjoy previously mentioned breeze), stepping in to the pristine northern lake, and coming to the realization that you're not near as hot sweaty and stinky as you thought you were. Back to camp you go with the rest of the freshly " air bathed hunters".

I understand completely. ;D I have been in freezing water 5 times in my life and hope to never have to repeat the experience. 2 of those times was by accident, 3 by choice. I was much younger then.

Welcome back... Shoot anything while you were gone? Just a dozen or so hogs. The hog population exploded and the deer disappeared. Last year I could have easily killed 100 hogs or more. They were at plague proportions. The Refuge where I hunt went so far as to create a late hog season. No size or bag limit.

Hey CC...great to see you back. Lot's of new broadheads have come out this year, but I want to know what you think of Nap discontinuing the Nightmare, and incorporating the design into the Thunderhead...calling it the Thunderhead Edge...with serrated blades.
