Red, Dude!!! You got a doe! That spitfire looked like it was hungry. It sure looked like it did a number on her. Now I have to ask which do you like better the 2 balde Rage or the Spitfire? Is there a set number of bucks you can take or is it an open season for the most part down there? So now thats one for the Fire and 1 for the Switchback. WHats up next longbow or recurve? Thanks for sharing buddy looking forward to seeing many many more of these. Well, I almost didn't recover the Rage hit buck...shots were very similar. When the doe got hit with that Spitfire it sounded like a brick smacked her...her legs buckled right underneath her. I've actually never had a bad experience (i.e., never lost an animal) with a Spitfire, so it would get the nod from me. Next up in the quiver are the Rocket Hammerhead and the Slick Trick Magnum. I know I should put it down the compound and pick up the trad gear....I am just having so much fun that it is hard for me to do it.

I shot the 125 grain version the stricknine a few times last year and broke that tip off on 2 of the three I shot. I always seem to hit the far side shoulder. The ST Mag on deer should be fine. I still have a little bit of Rage with the Rages after my experience with them when they first came out. But regardless of what your shooting I still would love to hear those stories and see them pics. Keep em coming!

Man, I had to hit that link 3 times for it to play, maybe something with photobucket.. Anyway..dude! What a hole with that Spitfire! I swear, I would never use a mechanical until I saw these things in action..first from skip's crew, and now yours....you can believe I have them in the quiver this year... That' some VH by the way...thought it was fitting..

Thanks for the heads-up, Craig...I am thinking about pulling the Hammerhead from the quiver. I originally bough those for turkey anyway. I also have some Montecs, Phatheads and Flames, of course. Guess I am just an equipment hound. ;D
