WOW!!! I can readily feel the warmth around this campfire, and look forward to frequenting this great forum. Lockmaster has done me a great favor in introducing me to this forum. He is a gentleman indeed. My son (15), my Dad ( 70), and I all enjoy traditional/ instinctive archery and have for many years. We have collected about several dozen traditional bows over the years, but I mostly reach for my Black Widow recurves and Dad his Black Widow longbows My son will shoot anything he can get his hands on and is currently wishing for a 50 cal. BMG?! I taught him to shoot instinctively when he was five. I like a really quiet 60# bow, cedar arrows, and grizzly two blade head for hunting, and love roving and stump shooting with judo points. Sounds like your family really has a strong background in traditional shooting.
That always comes in handy around here

I have been on and off with the recurves since I was 8 years old and wish I could stick with one bow long enough to master it the way I did once upon a time
My favorite is the Martin Mamba (older model....before they became just another piece of junk)
Anyway....it's great to have you on board
