Hey avidarcher. It's good to see another Georgian here . You will find lots of good info here and also some great guys. What part of Ga are you living in? I am currently in Dallas which is just west of Atlanta, but I am moving to Blairsville this weekend. |

My niece moved to GA after getting married and says it's the best place in the world for her. She lived in upstate NY and was in a very nice area so that says something to me  |

Lets see, bow season for whitetails starts mid sept. Gun season starts end of Oct. and runs to thru to Jan. We can kill 2 bucks and 11 does. Bear season starts in Sept. and ends sometime in November. Turkey season starts mid march and runs thru mid May with a limit of 3, the fishing here is better than anywhere else on the planet. The women are hot and so is the weather, thank God for midrif shirts and mini skirts. The people here are the friendliest you will find and the food is outta this world.....yes Georgia rocks!!!!

I'm glad that you like it here so far. Let me know what you think in about 5 years. I have been here all of my life and in 8-10 years when I retire I will be headed for the mid west. The long deer deason and liberal limit are nice and we do kill some pretty decent deer. Lets see, bow season for whitetails starts mid sept. Gun season starts end of Oct. and runs to thru to Jan.
