How many people have a spare bow?Is it the same as your primary one?Or do you have different brands or is your other bow just your last bow. I am very happy with my Mathews Mustang and see them on eBay and wounder if it would be NUTS to have two. Do they wear out??

I usually keep my last bow as long as it is still a good shooting bow. i am also on the lookout for a good deal on the same or similar bow. I like to have a backup in case something happens during the season or on a trip

I had a back up bow which is now my primary bow as one of the limbs on my other one had a sliver come off. I am going to get new limbs on it and make it into a hog rig. Heavy D/L, heavy arrows, 4 pin sight. Not real fancy, just a good, short distance, high impact bow for hogs on my lease where we have stands on hog routes and have already taken several. We haven't taken one with a bow yet but I plan on being the first in a few weeks.
I forgot to mention they are both HCA bows. Primary bow is a Power Force and one to be repaired is a High Country.

I keep a backup just in case the unthinkable happens. I.E. a limb explodes or I drop my bow and break something major. My primary is and Elite Synergy and the backup is a Mathews Switchback.

My backup bow is the previous bow-my Equalizer. Both it and my 82nd are setup similarly. They're also pretty close in design (both binary cams) and how they shoot so there's not a huge learning curve going from one to the other.

My backup bow actually switches action with my new bow. The Switchback is so smooth that I have a hard time leaving it at home...nothing like having confidence in your equipment. It is very conforting having two bows set up and ready to go. The saw palmettos down here can cut a string in half if you get careless.
