It looks like you can just put it on another arrow and still hunt with it as long as it is still sharp.

Killed a yearling doe in the Lower Suwannee Refuge. I had spent most of the morning scouting and was setting on a stump catching my breath when I noticed movement to my left. I had already let a large boar walk as I didn't feel like dragging him and hadn't seen very much deer sign so was suprised to catch the flip of a feeding deer's tail. I sat still and she walked up to about 10 yards. The first shot, with a NAP Nightmare, was perfect and she just hopped off a few steps and stopped behind some bushes. I learned long ago that if they were in range to keep shooting so I slipped another shot through a grapefruit size hole. That arrow, tipped with a Montec, hit her just in front of the ham breaking her back, exited, hit her behind the right ear and came out just above the left eye. The arrow stuck in a tree a few feet away. No tracking job was required. Both broadheads showed no damage. Sorry about no pics. By the time I got her out, all I wanted to do was get her cleaned and eat dinner.
