I like 4 just in case he drops at the sound of the shot. 3 I think is a little high if his lungs are deflated when the arrow passes through.
Thats not the shot I chose but your right....he does look alerted and 4 is not only safe on a drop back, it is also well off the scap and low enough to make the mark if your in the 20 yard range
