Look at the picture and envision yourself sitting where the camera man is That's almost exactly the position that 8 pointer I lost last November was standing when I shot. I was aiming pretty much between the 4 and 5. I won't do that again He needs to turn a little more broadside for my tastes.

From the camera angle I would say 10, incase he dropped at all. From a tree stand I would say 5.

Right in the middle of 4, 5, 7, 8 seen as a square. Actually, more between the 4, and 7..

I aim for the opposit leg also I have had those shots that come out through the brisket. I can't think of a quartering away deer I shot that I haven't seen or hear it fall. I'll take those shots anyday.

I myself don't think I would try this shot.I would give it a sec. or two.If I had to it would be between 4 and 7.This would to me be one of the shots that you are eather a "hero or a zero".I see the possibility of making a bad shot and having a bad day.IMO
