Are you hunting in a beech tree area This area is loaded with beeches. We set our stand ussually in hemlocks, with beech trees close as they are always the last to lose their leaves, affording us cover. A beech cost me a shot atthe big boy, and i had to shoot through a basketball size opening in a beech to smoke this guy at about 25 feet.
