I have a pal of mine who has something like 6 different animals from Africa in his trophy room - two zebras throw rugs - all bow kills. It makes for an awsome display! Who are you hunting with over there?

I'm back, what a great time! Think of your best day of hunting and multiply it by ten, every day for seven days! I'm still jet lagged and I left my pics @ my buddy's house, but I'll give you a brief run down. The good: I scored on a Blesbuck {a good old one with heavy bases}, Warthog, Ostridge and a Nyala{might make SCI top ten } The bad: I had Antelope duck my arrow twice, once @ 50 and once @ 30 yrds ..crazy fast little buggers The ugly: I hit and lost a Water buck and a Blue wildebeest, both hits would have smoked a whitetail but because of the low and froward vitals they took off I had a hard time over riding my whitetail vitals autopilot. All but the Ostridge didn't go more then ten yrds. The Ostrige was a perfect quartering away shot, entering behind the leg and taking out the heart ..he ran 95yrds with a heavy blood trail. More later...

Ken Moody said that the Blue wildebeest was the #1 wounded animal in Africa due to the fact that it's vitals relative to the body made location very difficult. Glad to hear back from you and looking forward to all of it

Blesbuck Magnus Buzzcut to the shoulder, took out the spine. Follow up shot thru the lungs. Both shots 37 yrds. No damage to Stinger, complete pass thru. Never recovered the one in the spine.
