;D Give a holler anytime you want to slide on down here and hunt, I've lived here most of my life and I'd be happy to show you around my woods! That last paragraph of your response is me to a T ;D, I either have the wrong tag, miss the elk, or can't find anything but hunters on atv's Like I said lemme know whenever you want to come this direction, the door is open . Ster Well, thank you very much for the offer! I may just take you up on it some weekend this September... Likewise, if you'd like to pop up towards Steamboat some time, (where I most enjoy elk hunting) let me know and I'll return the favor!

I have priced horses from them a time or two, but so far have not used them. Big outfit indeed! From what I hear, a good one, too! If I remember right, they have a pretty good web site?

No worries at all. OTC tags are basically sold in unlimited numbers. The multitudes can hunt, and most of the time show up at these unlimited units! Some times you can out walk the multitudes, other times you have to out think them - but one thing is for 100% certain - you will get to walk in the woods and hunt elk. Note one thing here, if there is a unit that you'd like to hunt but it is a limited unit - go ahead and put in the for the draw but as your first choice put in for a point. Then have them send you an OTC either sex elk tag. That way, you bank a point for another year, and you have your elk tag all lined up and don't have to worry about ***mart being sold out or something else happening to cost you time that you'd otherwise be spending in the woods!

Yeah, me too. Elk hunting takes a lot more planning than I would have thought. The license aspect seems to be daunting as well.
