Straight from Paul Morris owner of Starrflight which is the company that produces the FOB.
The tester FOB is made out of a nylon blend similar to the FOBs. It can be used over and over and will not damage your rest.

Technology is based on the "ring airfoil grenade" developed at Edgewood Arsenal in the late 1970's. It was made of 60-70 Shore A durometer rubber and when fired from a 40 mm grenade launcher would knock a person down with no fatal injuries. Got its accuracy from the spin inparted from the rifling of the launcer.
This particular application of the technology should improve accuracy from a purely technical standpoint. However, as stated often on this forum the proof is in the shooting. Will look forward to reports on how it performs since I shoot a crossbow. I did send them an E-mail to find out if it works with crossbow. If it does, it may help with stabilizing broadheads from 300+ Xbows. Dont know if these guys developed this themselves or exploited the concept. Either way, it may be helpful.

I forgot about this thread... They sent me some samples..and although they were ok, I wasn't impressed enough to switch to them over Blazers. That's just my take on them, you might feel that they fit your needs better.
