Here's a pic of my archery whitetail from this year.
We hunted this area hard all season and spotted this guy on does at the peak of the rut. Never got a chance at him until the middle of December. He started off as a 12 pt but must have been a real scrapper he had 5 pts busted off. and part of his lower jaw had been punctured by an opponents antler and was swelled up the size of a baseball. I shot him with my Mathews Switchback @ 70lbs, 55-75 goldtip arrows with 100 gr spitfire broadheads. caught him quartering away and got top of the heart and both lungs, he traveled 20 yrds and piled up.

Not sure why, but some of his features make him resemble a Blacktail.
