Not rare IMO The farmer across the road from us back when I was a kid would always get 800 - 1000# hogs by the end of the summer. One time he had a 1200+ as I remember

I hate to say this and ruin anyones hopes,, thats not a wild pig ;D that would what you call a brood boar used for mating at a feed,or hog lot.It had to have been let out and shot right after..

Here is one that a member of my forum son killed with a knife. The hog managed to kill a few dogs over a 2 or 3 day hunt. This is an example of what Tennessee has the potential of producing. The stats are 900lb and 7in tusks. Let me know when you are ready to come down and I will start trying to get permission to hunt
