Since there has been real interest here... lets get this started so that a plan can be put together Lets keep it simple and just do a numerical order and short answers to the numbered question ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #1:Name two quarters of the calendar year when you are able to make it. #2: What is you maximum comfortable travel time to reach the area? #3: What is the maximum rate charge for a boar hunt that you are comfortable with? #4: What is the minimum sized boar that you would feel happy with? -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's a preserve regaurdless... because of how it fits into the generally ability of everyone. That said...I have a place in mind that will provide more than fair chase

Early May would fit my schedule fairly well. Keep total expenses to under a grand and I should be in. That includes traveling. Length of travel isn't important as long as it fits in the above criteria. As for hog weight, couldn't begin to tell you. I have no experience with them.

O.K. So far we have narrowed it down to May which is actually good since there are still good hogs to be had and it makes for a good break after the winter shut down If you do go the Grey hound route Michi that would knock that cost right down to reasonable.

ETA is 14 hrs BT. That would be the only drawback on that. I may just rent a car thats economical. It'd be cheaper in the end too. My truck gets about 16mpg and that just wouldn't cut it. I could get a deal on a economy rental for about $20/day that would et 40 mpg and also have the luxury of not having to put that mileage on my own car.

Thats true and if other members from "The Hunting Lodge" are interested in joining a potential car pool would be very cost effective Any chance of your son or son's coming?
