With all this rain I am wondering how are Turkey are going to be making out with their eggs It isn't like they are going to grab them up in their beaks and transfer them to higher ground when the waters come up nest high I can say that the tri-state area here in the east might be an issue but what about other area's of the country?. How are you birds making out?

I start my last two weeks next Monday. Maybe it will cause them to flock again and help me out. Because they had a VERY early season and all the flocks were busted up by the time I had my first week 2 weeks ago.

Well it's raining STILL here in Detroit. Not sure about the Turkeys but hopefully some of the rats and other rodents will suffer from this!!

My toms are still hanging around. 2 More days! My hopes are up for my spots. When down to Dads today and we must have walked 10+ miles across a few different spots and nothing.

I beleive alot of clutches will get destroyed this spring.
On the plus side - since they attempt another clutch - there might just be a "second rut" for us late season hunters!
