An as of yet untried by myself idea: Slip a fender washer between the broadhead, and arrow. drop 25gn from your heads to compensate if your really worried about it (go to 100gn+ washer if currently shooting 125 etc) I agree with skipmaster1...a rubber blunt is stunningly effective on squirrel size game...and on cotton tails when you get nice head shots. (NOTE...I never have shot at a squirrel still IN the tree....I take them on the ground...if I miss, I'd never find my arrow LOL). When using a bow for cotton tails, I usually try to be in a slightly elevated position, and always shoot for the head...90% of these shots are under 20 yards.

Putting a fender washer in place of the Slick Trick supplied washer would prevent more penetration...the cuts in the blades suggested in this poor excuse for a photoshop rendition would allow total penetration of most small game, while slowing the arrow so it doesn't get buried in the dirt. just a thought.
