Well I went out and got a few judo tips for my arrows figuring they would be fun around the house for the small game stuff. I started off with a bang. My first shot of the evening was at 30yds and I was right on target. A big fat black bird bit the dust. They have been all over my yard latley and I figured they would be good practice since they dont stand still much. I had a few mor shots and deffinetly got feathers and one birds wing. But here is a pic of the first target.

I used to do more shooting at them then shooting them They are definitely a harder target to put on the ground. I remember back when I was a young teenager in Maine , there were so many for a couple of years that the state put a .10 bounty on them due to the fact that they were aiding crop damage. I never did bring them in for the bounty since I had no wheels and the closest station was 30 miles away but there were a number of the older guys who were making a buck a shot when they would fire a 12ga. into a flock . Good shooting Tex!

Nice shooting you think Black birds are rough to hit you should come out and stalk some gophers with my and royden! I found out that Fp's work just as good, a littile harder to find your arrows under the grass. But Royden has been experimenting with a flat Fp's. They seem to fly really good!
