Finally....I'm home!!!Man, that was a gruelling two day hunt. Me, and BT, agree that it was harder than some deer hunts we've been on.. Skip was the master as usual...no pun intended, and basically carried the crew on the first day with his shooting skills....not only hitting those tree rats, but actually putting heart shots on them!..  Me and Bt learned that blunts are sometimes not all that effective, so we switched to Gladiators on day two...after I lost one inside a huge tree...and sliced and diced after that. Bt's cat popped up out of nowhere at one point, and almost got one himself, but just managed to rat block me, as it scampered away....now that was weird! We all really did put the most that we had into it, and once again I can say that I'm proud to be a part of any hunt that these guys are involved in. Jamal! Great try on those yotes, you were the only one of us that had a good oportunity for them, so you had to swing for the fences...there's always next year!  |
