Bottom Pic....ditto...but the first choice is the center pic! I know it's a good shot but it just seems wrong going for the keester shot.

I know it's a good shot but it just seems wrong going for the keester shot. No chance of a wound and a quick finish I'll take that.

Yep, the Texas heart shot (keester shot) is the best in my book too. Not only is it a quick killer, but when they're fanned like that they have their head tucked in and they can't see you draw behind them because the fan blocks their view. I've always found this particular anatomy picture very helpful. I'm sure a lot of you have seen it before. You can see that the frontal shot is pretty tough on a broadhead if you hit that massive sternum and shoulder joint from that direction. When I take this shot, I simply aiming for the the base of the neck. A wide cutting mechanical will usually damage the shoulder joint's tendons and muscles so it can't fly, and take out the heart and lungs too. It is really hard to do with all those feathers, but it is like imagining the path of an arrow shot on a deer when aiming for the off-side leg. The frontal shot and keester shot can be the same. Imagine the base of the neck on the other side, or the vent from the front.
