Muskrat!...one of the finest eating animals I have ever had. I would shoot one in a second if it were to cross my path. Ever try that MT?

No I have never tried Muskrat My dad used to threaten to make beaver stew and save the tails for paddles We have muskrats in the yard here around the ponds. Everytime I head down to do some bowfishing I seem to spook one and it darn near runs me over to get back into the ponds. I started to take a shot at one with my bowfishing rig and decided not to because I didn't know how I would get it off the arrow

OMG!!!! You have no idea how good they are. No kidding....none at all....you have to try one. quarter and lightly par boil. Remove from water , cool and then remove flesh from the bones. Fast fry in oil like chicken and then prepare for a gourmet meal
