I know I read a thread here about some sort of device to reduce the penetration on turkeys...something that allows you to use your current broadheads but reduce the chance of pass-thru's. 2 days of searching and trying to use the "search" feature have yeilded nothing. I've seen the Adder collars, but I'd rather have something that works from the back of the arrow instead of the front, and I thought what I read here forever ago worked that way. A little help?  Thanks!  |

The search engine here sucks  I have tried to set the site up so that whatever subject you want to read about, all you have to do (or should have to do, if I have done my part) is go to the category that would pertain to that your thinking about. For instance.... Turkey would be in small game. I know what you are referring to and I will try and find you a direct link  |

Thanks man! I wasn't sure whether to put this in small game or not, as I was looking for equipment, or because it's for turkey!

Yeah..unless its specialized (such as broadheads) everything is categorized to what it pertains to. For instance... If you are talking about broadhead specifics for turkey, deer, etc....you would look in the broadheads section. However... If you are looking for broadhead related attachments for specifics, you would go to the game specific area of the board. Since you are looking for items that minimize broadhead penetration on turkey, it would be in the turkey (small game) section since it is species specific. If you do find something out of place, please PM me and I will fix it |

This might be what you are looking for Zwickey Scorpio Broadhead stopper www.3riversarchery.com/Product.asp?c=57&s=71&p=86&i=4205XI have used them with blunts on grouse with good success before. I put them right behind the blunt and they have all ways ended up stopping the arrow at the fetching.  |

that looks good...I think I want my arrow to ride along with the turkey after the shot...harder to get away with a big 'ol stick in ya!
