I have seen the ads for the Tioga in outdoor life mag.since I was a little kid and have always wanted to go there. Well... it was a let down but not too bad. (what stacks up against a fantasy right?! ;D) The folks there were friendly and attentive and the food was out of this world good and plenty The preserve has two areas for hunting. One area is 450 acres and the other a bit over 200. (Once again... an average size for the Northeast) If the hunter sets the rules , that hunter can have a fair hunt with a bow on the smaller area or either gun or bow on the larger area. (Rules in regards to not hunting a fence line or feeder) The ground is barren for the most part in the smaller area while the larger area has a potion which is wooded. The larger area is mostly fields so don't get to excited about having a demanding or challenging hunt The living area is about as good as a run down hunting camp but it is fairly clean. Although I wouldn't take a woman there,it should be fine for a guy The practice area is a joke but at least there is a place to sight in and shoot the bag to make sure everything is on and ready. all in all...not a great place and I would give it a 3.5

We went to Tioga several years ago, had fun but I will never take my kids there nor would I go back. The whole thing smells (figuratively) fences and hunting do not mix... The pork tastes good though!

The pork is great! There are better places for sure but I wouldn't give up on it altogether because of one bad experience;) You probably would really like a place such as RHR , Bowhunters Paradise , White Oaks,ect.. Like I have said many times....The north does not have the better preserves

What do you think is the best reserve so far in PA that you have been to? I would love to meet up with you all and go on a hunt up there. I live in delaware, that wouldnt be such a bad ride for me. I also have a few buddys I work with that are interested!!!
