BT I cant remember the exact kenetic energy. I shoot around 300-310 fps and a 400grain arrow. The heads are 100 grain. I am shooting 83lbs. I think the KE was in the upper 70's. The average shot I take on deer is around 15 yds. The head in the picture was shot through a large bodied buck at 14 yds. The arrow passed and was in the grouns about and inch leaning over. The exit wound was right through the ball socket where the scapula and leg bone meet. I do remember seeing my arrow do a sumersalt before sticking in the ground so it realy should have been laying there. i will never forget the bone crushing whack that I heard on at the release of that arrow. My buddy was about 90yds from me and he came over the radio and said whatever you shot it is dead. I then couldnt talk for about 5 minutes. I even felt unsafe to climb down!!!!!! Gosh i love that feeling!!!!

82# K.E. at 305fps. Geee....wonder why that head bent That's a great story I remember not so long ago that people told me these broadhead tests I was doing were not for the normal set ups. I was told that the speeds were to fast/K.E. to high and on and on Your just one of the many now-a-days who are shooting what I have always contended the general public would be shooting at some point Soon it will be me who will be behind the times

I guess I put a little strain on her huh!!! *lol* I am not sure why I shoot my bows like that but I guess I just want to get every little bit of energy. I do get to shoot 0-35 yds with one pin though, that is always nice. I think that the high energy levels are nice when it comes to shooting through bone. If I cant get a pass through I will change somthing.

I shoot a jennings grand master. I have had the bow tweeked out to the max. I have changed cams and all. I tried to get the max out of her. I am looking at a new one now. But she has been good to me. The poundage is starting to creep back down on me now. I think that the limbs are getting week. Might be time to put her up.

Maybe a set of new limbs. Votto was telling me that Barnsdale will make them up for $50. a piece but to be honest , I may have misunderstood him saying that at the time because that seems a bit inexpensive for Barnsdale quality IMO
