Ladies/Gents, I may have the opportunity to chase Black Buck in a few weeks and I wanted to ask if anyone here has hunted these guys before. I have been told the ideal point of aim is close to the pocket and slightly below where the white meets the darker area, whether it be black or tan. I'd like to get someone to reaffirm this if possible. Thanks.

What is a black buck? and where are they common? BlackBuck is an antelope that is orginally from India. I have heard however that there are currently more blackbuck in the state of Texas than in India. Here is what they look like:

They are nor real large so the Spitfire should be able to punch on through. I have about 66 lbs of KE right now with the Synergy so I should be ok if I get to close. Thanks Jamal.

you can kinda see from that pic that the vitals are forward ... see how the stomach is distended 4-6" forward from where you would expect it on a whitetail? And it looks like they have more chest in front of their legs than a whitetail does. Break a leg.

Royden, Just wanted to say thank you sir. You were most definitely correct on your dianosis. The heart and lungs on these animals are pushed way forward and the heart is about the size of a goose egg. Thanks agian sir.
