I went back and watched closer this time.
There was one minute on the film time and I would be willing to guess an additional minute or more off film.
No jugular hit with a broadhead would allow anything to live that long.
You would pump out 1/2 your blood in less than a minute and you wouldn't be running around....you would be dragging your butt from the rapid blood loss.
Next, this is an Asian water Buffalo and they are nowhere near as tough as a cape horn Buffalo.
Not that it matters much but these Buffalo are rarely provoked and used as mules would be used in mexico....work animals.
Buff was watching opposite end of the field, away from the bowman and suddenly spooked (shot?) and then runs to the herd, does a couple turns and then falls.
Hmmmm.....
This is the problem with preserves IMO.
Allowing hunting that is ethical is fine but there is not even a weapons check in most places.
Obviously not at this preserve anyway.
Like SMJ said...nothing to do with traditional archery or the people that pursue that form of bowhunting.
Amen to that!! This guy is actually on the video put out by hunts bowhunting ranch in texas. This sort of thing just burns me up. Ok everybody makes a bad hit everyonce in the while and they may even film it, but who the heck films it and puts it out there for the world to see and watch over and over again. I can see this video now being played at some darn PETA meeting. What a knucklehead!!! I have better more appropriate words but children may be reading this.
UGHH!!!
