I have also tried using wraps and had no problem with them. That is untill I shot a deer with them. I could only get one pass through shot with them on a target or deer then the wrap and vanes would bunch up and then I would have to strip the arrow and reflech them. Seemed to me a very co$tly only getting one shot.

I like the wraps also, they are very easy to apply and the platinum works fine. And what I really like about them is they are easy to remove with a hair dryer and I just use 97% alcohol to remove the adhesive. You might can go to your local sign shop and get the vinyl for free, I just use a 1 x 4 , like a blazer wrap. ask if they have any scraps. you need 2 mil. Or you can get pretty ones cheap here or at AT. pm me for any help. Good luck

This is another option using lacquer paint. It is easy to get off when re-fletching by using some acetone and weighs far less than an arrow wrap. I use the Loctite super glue gel and it works great for me. I tried the Bohning Fletchtite Platinum but it reacts with the paint. Below is a link that shows the process.
