It's only a button buck, but since it was my first smoke pole deer, I could care less for being a button buck. I used my friend's gun and I was sitting on my parents property on a logging road. I heard a shot and seen some deer running my way. I had two other friends their at the place hunting to. As i was watching the deer run up the hill, I hear SNORT. I turn around and there is a huge mature doe 15 yrds in front of me. I get the gun up and she bolts down the the logging road and over the hill into a thicket. I was really peed old.... but right behind her was this button buck. He too bolted, but i kind of yelled at him and at 80 yrds he stopped and turned. He was quarting away from me. The shot well you can see the entry hole. Didn't spin him around in the picture to see the exist hole, but it was right behind his left front leg. He ran about 30-35 yrds and piled up...
I was using a Wolverine muzzleloader which is made by Knight. Using a Barnes Bullet I think.
