me, my dad (84 had stroke in Nov.) his wife Lavonne (diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer) and my sister form Slidel Louisina (she drove) she took us all fishinhg Fri eve and Sun afternoon/eve anyways between the 2 times about 40-50 bullhheads and 5 crappies I caught all the crappies (on medium minow) and several bullheads mostly on nightcrawlers Sundays catch only....no pics Fri. big crappie

Never seen a bullhead, are they a type of catfish and are they good eating?

They are indeed a member of the Catfish family none-the-less. Nice catch!! Looks like a lot of fun!!

gunna try and go up there fishing by myself (about 40 mi. one way)....all details thought thru and resolved...hope to post some pics

I love Bullhead. I haven't caught them in a while, since we used to fish this farmers pond back when I was younger. I think I might have to give it a try again after seeing this post. Looks like a great day out.
