O.K....spent about an hour shooting with a 30" 2213 carrying a 165gr. head.
I can adjust easily at 15 yards or less and that's really not an issue when shooting a target but I am not satisfied with this for hunting since I know that I will definitely shoot point of aim in the heat of the moment. I have shot point of aim for to long and just know that in the last 5 seconds , I am not going to be thinking like I do on a target...instead I will revert back to instinct and therefore it is a risk I dont want to take.
At 0-15 yards I am spot on for height and at 20 yards I am 3" lower. The spot remains 3" left with 4" left being the most off when snap shooting. That's too far .....

How think is the striker plate/pad on the side of the window? changing the thickness of that may allow you to change POI either that or change anchors! I brought mine a little lower and more to the front of my face, now I am POA Changing the anchor point this way changes two things that I don't like a whole lot. In this case - 1 - reduces draw length which means a stiff arrow should actually appear more stiff due to a reduction in draw weight. 2 - Changes the way you look down the shaft - which will effectively move the impact point of the arrow at the target, without changing the tune of the arrow, possibly even allowing for a greater mis-match than you had originally due to the load reduction due to the reduced draw length. I hear ya SMJ. I wasnt saying to shorten the DL, I was able to move my anchor to the front of my face more without sacrificing more than a fraction of an inch of DL I also wasnt saying to allow for a bad tune by looking over the shaft. I was just saying that it will move you POI if you are hitting slightly off(with the correct shafts). Thats how my Shrew is and I flight tune it back to 30yds, to make sure the arrows are correct. The bottom line is that you are correct to make sure you have the correct arrow instead of trying to fix it with bandaids!

Moot point at this time. The limbs (both) have a vertical fracture running their length from the butt outward. Groan! I ordered a 48Mag a few minutes ago. You said you liked that one skipmaster....lets see if I like it
