I added a string suppressor to my new PSE Stinger.My question is do you have a 20 thousand gap between it and the string. Or should it make contact when at rest  |

I would experiment. When the STS first came out I experimented with several bows and found that most liked it just touching. One bow, a PSE Brute if I remember right, liked it about 1/8 off the string. The bow seemed to group better this way while still killing most of the noise and helping with the handshock. This bow was the exception however.
