Is there any advantage to matching your 3 blade broadhead to be in line with your 3 feathers or will it make no difference on how your arrow will fly? ? (on rotation?? or acuracy) What do most of you fellows do? Thanks.

I haven't seen any difference with the blades lined up, or not. What does seem to make a difference with some broadheads is the way they are orientated on the bow. Two blades seem to like being shot with the blades in the 12 o'clock/ 6 o'clock, and some three blades with one blade in the 12 o'clock position. A lot of the passing heads here can be shot in any orientation.

I have known some shooters who swear that the heads must be aligned with fletching. I think that the advise Spiker lists for orientation are the most common I've seen. Personally, I've not seen any big difference for the tips I've shot. (Mostly Silver Flame - but I've not shot hunting tips off the newest bow yet. It is a lot faster than other trad bows I own, so, maybe something will show up. If so, I'll post on it, probably in the next month. Perhaps it is a speed thing more than a form thing... The new bow is probalby in the range of 30 to 40 fps faster.)

My hunting setups run right at 200fps, and I always align my broadhead with my fletches, and always straight fletch my hunting arrows.........although I haven't noticed any difference under 20 yds, but above that trajectory differences come into play the farther you shoot.
