I'm glad everything has cleared up for you. I'm starting to feel the effects of lessening eyesight lately, and it's really bugging me. The reason I could shoot well at long range, was because of how clear my vision was. I had laser surgery about 5 years back, and have been seeing in HD until recently. They said it would start to go in my mid 40s. I'm wondering if I could go back in for a refresh. Buckshot, can't wait to see that string build! Having the same problems Spiker. I've used a Specialty Archery Super Peep without a verifier for the last several years in anticipation of needing one in the future. Now it is time to get one. Only problem is that it is they are $25 or so and I don't know which one to get. I need to get down to the archery shop to put some in to see which magnification to get, but I keep putting it off. I do all my own bow work anymore and it is just a pain to go into a shop anymore. You might look at them if you use a peep. I hear the verifiers work great for older eyes.

Well, I've been building bows and some antler fishing rods, my latest one is a South Bend split bamboo casting rod made in the late 1920's, which I converted over to a light action 6' spinning rod with an antler seat and balance, it turned out great, and also I've been gearing up for the Memorial weekend shoot at Farmland, so far we have 16 vendors, a guest speaker, The Ogre challenge, and the Camp Cuervo Army strong challenge, 3 novelty shoots and a ton of awesome things for the Wounded Warrior Project auction, it's shaping up to be the biggest shoot they've ever had !

I have issues focusing at times so I have cut my maximum range to 40 yards. any thing beyond that is a guess now. I thought about the verifier but read somewhere it no workie for people that are near sighted. I think I would have to try one before I bought it to make sure it works for me. <sigh> the rifle has been calling my name lately but I have been resisting.
