SMJ, I use sticky backed industrial Velcro(lowe's) exclusively on my bows rests, it holds up fine in any weather, and is very durable...... great tutorial!

It is a bit different, built it up with 3 layers as the old shelf was marked up some and put one piece of cork full lenght of the shelf and two more to build it up. Put it in the deepest part of the grip. Changed my sights and nock and shoots real nice. Thanks smj!!!! I also used velcro for the rest and the plate. I like the way it turned out and will be leaving it the way it is. I also installed a peep and find it helps on my form to be more consitant. I find that my anchor is more true, hopefullly it will make me better! Attachments:

I am happy it worked out for you oldgun! Sounds like the peep worked out for your form and style - I am happy that worked out as well. Best of luck with the new set up.
