Just returned last week from 6 weeks in AZ . Got the Excaliburs assembled and sighted in, targets out, let the slivers slinging begin. Turkey season starts April 19 for me and I won't miss for want of practice.

Actually, who comes along is still in the air. There is the Phoenix, my all time go-to bow, easy to cock and great trigger. The Vortex is a tad faster but trigger isn't as good, even though I've worked it. And last, the Parker Cyclone. At 365 fps it's fast and flat, drops only 9" between 20 and 40 yrds, but a tad front heavy heavy so don't point as naturally as the first. May have to flip a coin  |
