When I re-entered archery three years ago, I went with carbon shafts but soon found myself wanting the durability of my old XX75’s. I fooled around for about a year and when I decided to return to alloys, no one wanted to help me! They thought I was kidding, crazy or both. I researched spine selection and got a large batch of Easton X-7 Eclipse (10.4 gpi) shafts and went to work. 29.25 shaft, alloy insert, Super Uni-Bushing, Easton Super nock, 100 grain Saunders combo-point and 3, 2 inch Blazers give me a completed weight of 490 grains and 235 fps from my 60 pound short draw bow. The bow is much quieter and I am very happy with accuracy and durability. With my Magnus 2 edged Stingers I don’t feel under gunned at all. Attachments:
