Seems that Mr. X's Monster is spot on considering he has a peep and loop on the string. What in the world is going on with APA of your's, Spiker? I think that IBO rating they gave that bow is awefully generous, like about 10-15fps too generous. That sucks

I think that IBO rating they gave that bow is awefully generous, like about 10-15fps too generous. That sucks Yes, and that's straight from the factory. Tuned to the way "they" shoot them. I got 10 of those 325 fps from adding Tru Fire buttons. The Monster has a 6" brace, and the KC has a 5 1/6". If I shot the Monster at 28", the KC is a couple of fps faster. Lose 5 fps for the 1/2" dl, and you have 322 fps. I don't know...I might throw it on ebay as it came back brand new, they sent a new riser, and limbs. The dip is good. I wonder what I could get for it? Or...I might get it "Crackerized". It would be something to get this bow flinging arrows at it's IBO speed. Just a shame that it has to be "Supertuned" to achieve that. The Monster is an impressive bow! It's like a fine piece of furniture. It's excellent craftsmanship, and I can't believe it retails less than all the other companies '10 bows. Crazy. Keep in mind that I'm making sure I get as close to 5gpp on each setup.

2005 Bowtech BlackKnight. 51# at 26" drawlength. It says "272" BT and I discussed about what kind of speed I've lost due to the fact that limbs are not maxed out. This is a 50-60# bow. It's hard to tell. I estimate this bows IBO at my specs between 285-295fps. Take into effect that I used a heavier arrow and lost probably about 18fps, which would put me at about 290fps. About where I should be

Get some Barnsdale 40- 50# limbs, and max it out.

Good idea. That would allow me to throw on a bowturbow, too. A 50# bow clocking in like 310fps @ 26" draw. Wouldn't that be just sick ;D

Got a wild hair up my hiney and built an IBO weight arrow last night for the sole purpose on seeing how fast the BlackKnight could really go. It's an HCA Speedpro arrow cut to 24.75" with 4 miniblazers. I was most pleased with results Again, 26" draw, 51lbs. 2005 BT BlackKnight.

That puts that bows IBO at about 333- 335fps....about. What's the IBO on that bow? Do you think the Destroyer will out perform the BK ?

Hmmm. I estimated IBO speed @ my specs this way: BK2 342-350fps @70lbs, 30" draw. 20lbs under: -40fps 26" drawlength:-40fps 100grains lighter: approx 33fps gain net loss -47fps My IBO: 295-303fps....
