I shoot a Legacy now...I like it, I like it a lot. What tedicast said about the wall and valley is true, but it's forced me to use better form (holding back tension) and that hasn't been a bad thing. My only real complaints are that it is pretty damn heavy all set up, and it's a bit long ATA so it can be a bit cumbersome sometimes.
I will say though, I've only owned a handful of bows and shot a handful more, no where near as much as some of the others here. This Legacy is the newest bow I've owned, but I like it. I want a newer bow, and won't have a problem replacing it, but I'm in no rush to do so.

trebone.. I will say...it seems the Legacy really was a stepping stone for Mathews. It seems that bow brought then to another level. When that bow came out, it was definitely the $hit!!!

Oh, I'm diggin' this bow for sure, it replaced a PSE Beast which I was in love with. I can't shoot it better at 30 yards or less than I could my old bow, but my effective range has gone from 35yards to 55 yards with this bow. That kind of boost is really good for the confidence!
It's a good bow, and if it's newer than what you have oldfarmsblueman, go for it. It's not the best thing around, but it's probably one of the better used bows out there in that $200-$250 range for sure. I got mine for the grand sum of plowing a few food plots for a guy this past spring and I'm pretty happy with my end of the deal for sure!
But someday soon I will have the ability to replace it with a newer, nicer bow, and I won't have a problem doing so. It's the best bow I've owned, but I'm not in love with it by any means. Maybe it's just some Mathews prejudice, but the bow I've shot recently that really has me going is a DXT...go figure!
