It's just two short weeks and I move out of state. The thought of moving away from family, friends and familiar surroundings gets me a little choked up. Everyone, however, is supportive of the move, which makes things a lot easier on me. I forgot this tune by Yes, "Our Song". I think it was the official anthem of NW Ohio for a decade ;D Be advised, the skyline in the first few seconds of the clip is NOT Toledo, but much of the video is. When they first say "Toledo" that is the city. I leave this blue collar town with no hard feelings  |

Well...nothing personal but... As far as I can see..... The best part of Toledo is being transported to NY.  I have no idea how you can stand that environment or why you would subject yourself to it....considering who you are.  By the way.... Anymore drive by shooting at the Hospital lately? |

Toledo is just not good for me. I grew up there, some attachment does exist. I don't know why I wax sentimental about oil refineries, run down neighborhoods, abandoned warehouses, and FLAT land. You gotta have some grit living here. For some screwed up reason, I like the areas with most industrialization-they are most interesting. No incidents since the last time. Right now the hospital has either very sick people or druggies looking to get a fix. Most of my patients Wednesday were the latter  |

Just something about the land north of the mighty Maumee River that does something to the bulk of the people who troll around there. You'd be hard pressed to find a group of people that have the least reason to be so rude. It's one thing to think your S doesn't stink, they don't even have S, nothing but diarrhea That's how funny it is. Make it a point to never cross the river. |

That's why I lived in Bowling Green. At least in BG people are civil and fairly open minded. Nothing wrong with rural NW Ohio. But Toledo can slide off into Lake Erie and become fish structure for all I care |
