On the subject of Mongolian Bows you might wish to look around these sites. These are active makers of several styles of Eastern European and Asian bows and the sites include information on history, use and construction of the classic double recurve bow. www.grozerarchery.com/Grozer Traditional Recurve Bows Hungary www.horsebows.com/Horsebows - Home Csaba Grozer learned his trade from Kassai Lajos and both continue to make several styles of bows in the same manner as they were made hundreds of years ago.

Another site of interest primarily for the beautiful illustrations is Persian Halls. The site itself is written in Persian, Farsi or Arabic but the site is well done and contains a number of historical illustrations of the Persian Archer and soldier circa Greek and Roman days. www.phalls.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=21850ارتشهاي باستاني ايران - Persian Discussion Society
