It would make the perfect weapon for MR. MELTDOWN defeater of goats. Wonder what the costume for that would look like? As for the Z7, I make no secret that I like Mathews bows and prefer single cams in general. I may use others and I love experimenting with equipment, but my Switchback will always be my go-to weapon. Shot many a bow, but that one is the smoothest by a wide margin. Since I don't hunt out West, pure speed is of little value to me. If I averaged all my shots I am pretty sure I'd be at 25 yards, give or take a tenth. From an elevated stand, that means 1 pin...hold a tad low at 20 and and tad high at 30. I am a fan of the double lung (generous sized target and it is just plain tough to run far when you can't breath). Boom, boom, out go the lights. BTW: where I do the majority of my hunting, it is jungle thick. I've seen too many heart-shot deer that run and run. If a deer doesn't die close to my stand, chances of recovery are slim...thus my penchant for the double lung special.

The costume would have to have some red in it to match the strings. As for thick cover I have hunted down your way for pigs in Arcadia I'm not a fan of following bloodtrails through palmettos but if thats where your at you do what you have to. It was definitely different from my Ky hills and hardwoods that I'm used to.

BTW, nkybuck, I didn't see a run down on your impressions of the bow (possibly I missed it). Do a mini review for us. I haven't heard anything but good about it, but always nice to hear from one of our own.
