In Ct I hunt two towns. One is 38.3 sq.mi. and there were 38 deer taken with a bow this year. The town I live in is 33.3 sq.mi. and 28 deer were taken. From some of the reports I read thats pitiful I think. Any one know about there area .We have lots of bow hunters so it makes me wounder how it compares to BT's area in NY.Or anyone else that they know this years harvest compared to area hunted.

I could count on one hand the number of bow kill deer here that I know of. My guess is one in 10 to one in 15 hunters killed their deer with a bow around here. Square miles ? lots.
