I see a custom recurve in my future and I blame BT for it. Pics like these don't help any either.

After the PSE Nova thingie, and the attendant string/cable tuning which precedes the necessary broadhead tuning(actually the easiest part), I thunk to myself, I thunk....whatever happened to a stick & a string? I used to enjoy that with dad, just shootin'. Though I've had a coupla bows since that were sans cams, I really got the bug to go for simplicity. I mean, before 1974, MOST, if not all deer bow-killed got that way by long or recurved bows! So now I'll be doing a recurve soon and truly looking forward to it.

I really like it myself and even after two years of near constant shooting , I am always finding ways to improve flight. I remember when I could shoot so very well with nothing more that a 30# fiberglass bow and cedar arrows that were not even perfectly straight How in the heck was that possible!?! ~ LOL!

I think the human eye and body are capable of far finer adjustments than we are presently able to measure. While there is some empirical data which suggests this is true, much of the information available is anecdotal. I think you are referring to shots that, looking back, seem amazing. Some folks touch the superior from time to time...even ME! Recently took up golf due to an elderly neighbor who is lonely...his kids don't visit much, so I use his spare set and I take him to the local school grounds after hours when there are only fields. About three weeks ago, I hit the ball with a 7 Iron, which he tells me is good for a 200 yard shot, only I clear 50 foot trees 300 yards away and the ball is still rising. I am SHOCKED, and so is he. He says he has never seen anything like it. I CANNOT hit the ball with the woods, but now I am regularly hitting 275 yards easy with the 7, and dead straight. He says I maybe should throw the woods away...Similarly, with the trad bows I have had in the past, if "they liked me" all I did was draw, and look at whaere I wanted to hit---totally NO aiming or system. 4" groups at 25 and 30 yards, of which I am proud. Now, after watching Judgement call, I am VERY excited, and want to try the NAP flipper aim method of walking the string. It is logical, and straightforward, yet retains elements of the instinctive method. I think this may be the right blend.

Let me tell you. I was shooting on average 6" groups at 10yds with my recurve. not really to good at all. I shot pure instictive. sometimes I was "on" and sometimes I wasn't even close. BT taught me his way and in about a month I have been shooting 100 times better. If I do everything like I am supposed to I can easily keep a 6" group at 30+ yards and smack arrows together at 15. It really works. The tape dosen't do BT's shooting ability with the recurve ANY justice.

The tape doesn't do BT's shooting ability with the recurve ANY justice. I wasn't trying to have the attention on me but rather the method. I felt that the open groups I threw down in the demo were good enough to show ability to kill without discouraging someone who couldn't do as well as myself if I did want to tighten it up. That being said.... Anyone who uses my method will be able to smoke the guys performance on the tape by the end of the first year and keep up with it within a month or two. Perhaps less

I think this may be the right blend. The Bow I sent is set up with a Flipper II and nock set. All you have to do is string it and shoot. It went out today and should be there Tues. at the latest I am told.
