Got in this morning before daylight and it was freakin cold. Deer started moving about 7:30 and trickled in and out of the area all morning long. This little fella and his buddies have been there every morning. He came in to about 10 yards from the stand eating on acorns and mingled for about 10 minutes without offering a shot. After about 10 minutes he turns quartering away at about 20 yards and now he is at the processor. Wasn't going to shoot one of these smaller bucks, but he made it too tempting to pass up. He will eat good. All in all it was great morning to be in the woods. Spitfires
