54" on the string Cedar and by the way Elk...it's a 49# bow so your arrows will be fine  |

Ok...it may be a couple of days before I can get the string done...will let ya know as soon as its finished.....I take it the bow is 58"?

It should be but I didnt measure it , I went off the Ammo spec. on the bow.
You want me to measure to make sure?

Nope..thats good enough...I always make the strings a little long, that way if I get too much material in the loops it will still be long nough...if its too long, you'll just hafta twist it a bit.

We'll I got good news and some bad news  . The good news is my grade for the Archery speech was an A+  . The bad news is that Bowtech Pm'd me and said the limbs on the recurve he was gona send me were shoot  . So I guess I will have to waite for the next avaliable one he can find for me

Thats right  My son tried to string it and twisted the lower limb badly. It cant even hold a string when drawn....just spits it off and spinds the bow around towards you  |
