What vanes are on your crossbow hunting arrows and why?
Also, how close to the nock are your vanes fletched?

i just got up & measured them. some are 1" from rear, nok some 1 1/8" some 1 1/4". Duravanes 4"

On Mine the back of the Blazer is 1 1/4" from the nock. When I fletch my arrows I don't use an adapter. I just drop them in the jig.

2" Blazers, because they are tough, pre prepped and fly well for me.
Mine are just under 1" from the back of nock.
